We built the DIDASKALIA studio, regularly visited by prominent figures including Polish ministers and presidents, in just a few days — from concept to complete fit-out. Futuristic minimalism, classical busts, a fireplace reminiscent of an American film and an otherworldly space that looks almost virtual define the new Didaskalia studio for Wirtualna Polska. The design is by Jan Sikora, one of the most distinctive voices in Polish interior architecture, once again demonstrating that television set design can be a true art form. Wirtualna Polska needed a studio for its popular programme Didaskalia, hosted by Patrycjusz Wyżga. Its choice of Sikora Wnętrza was no coincidence: Jan Sikora had already designed the Dzień Dobry TVN set and is known for combining history with modernity. This time, the challenge was to create a space reflecting both the gravity of geopolitical issues and a contemporary vision of the future.
